I am logged into Instagram, but when I try to upload an image, it asks me to login

I just downloaded the app and loged into instagram. When I click on the upload icon, it keeps asking me to login and am not able to upload at all. Why is it asking me to login when I am already logged in? It is useless right now. Is this a bug???
